The No Frame minicalendar modifier specifies, for an individual minicalendar, that no change of its textbox frame attributes should occur, regardless of the current month minicalendar options.

The ignore frame options modifier is

:NoFr

This is useful, as shown in the example below when you want the extent of the frame to be different than that of the textbox that contains the minicalendar elements.

The No Frame modifier is applied to the larger box containing all the textual elements of the minicalendar (most noticeably the month name) and the minicalendar marker (in red) of the smaller box is left un-modified so that it can be shaded and/or framed when it is the current minicalendar, depending on the minicalendar options.
