Layer Moving Tokens are used to move an object (or group of objects) to another layer.
The token consists of "LAYER:" followed by the name of the layer on which you want to move the current object.
For example:
[LAYER:MyTestLayer]
If the layer does not exist then it will be created.
When using QuarkXPress 2015-2025
The position of the created layer is not guaranteed, with respect to the textbox that contains the [LAYER] token.
If the position of the target layer, with respect to other layers, is important, then you should create that layer in the GridTemplate, in the desired position.
When using QuarkXPress 5-10
If you use Layer Moving Tokens with QuarkXPress versions 5-10, then you should always un-check the remove opf layers generation option, otherwise you will get a message that your current generation options are incompatible with Layer Moving Tokens. Additionally, if you plan on using a layer which already exists in a GridTemplate, then you should also un-check the remove gridtemplate layers generation option.
