Making sure the application server is running

If you encounter message 165300 this is usually due to the server computer having been restarted but no Windows login having been performed.

 

To ensure that the application server is running:

 

1.Go and sit in front of the computer that is used as a server (the computer where the D:\Q++ServerXE3\ folder is located).

2.Log in to Windows if this has not been done yet.

3.Wait for the log in to complete and all programs that load at start-up to run (this usually takes 60-90 seconds).

4.Check that the application server tray icon is visible in the notification tray at the bottom right of the screen (as shown in the image on the right). If it is not visible, launch it manually by going into the D:\Q++ServerXE3\ folder and double-clicking on the Q++Server32.exe program file.
