The output file name you have set contains more than one period, for example :

 

 c:\temp\Weekly_8.5x11.5.qxp

 

This is likely to cause problems, and you must remove these extra periods from the file name before you can generate a diary.

 

Solution

 

Your choices, from the message's pop-up menu, are to Let Q++Studio generate an output file name or Set the output file name yourself.
