Property of the script lines: Blank Pages, DiaryGridLines, Place Holders, and Quark Pages.

This property is used to specify when to skip/exclude one of the above types of script lines.

This is useful for diaries where the number of pages inserted depends on the number of days in February (ie. if the current year is a leap year or not).

For example, Skip Line property might be useful to add a page of notes in years where February has only 28 days, to maintain a total number of pages, as shown in the example on the right.

Skipping can be based on based on the following criteria:

Ignore

This option means that the current script line is never skipped.

Leap Year Script

The current script line will be skipped whenever the Year property of the current script is a leap year.

Non-Leap Year Script

The current script line will be skipped whenever the Year property of the current script is not a leap year.

Odd Script Year

The current script line will be skipped whenever the Year property of the current script is odd (not evenly divisible by 2).

Even Script Year

The current script line will be skipped whenever the Year property of the current script is even (not evenly divisible by 2).

Although the Skip Line property can be used in script lines that belong to an insert block, it is usually simpler to use the skip insert property to skip the entire insertion block, and therefore the Skip Line property is usually used for script lines that are part of the front pages and back pages.
