Windows 10 64-bit is the recommended version of Windows to use on the computer or virtual machine, used as server, for the XE3 version of Q++Studio.

 

Other Versions

 

The computer or virtual machine, used as server for the XE3 version of Q++Studio, can also run Windows 2016 Server (64-bit), Windows 2019 Server (64-bit), Windows 2022 Server (64-bit), or Windows 7 Professional (SP1) (not recommended for security reasons) or Windows 11 (64-bit).

 

Latest Version of Windows

 

The computer or virtual machine, used as server for the XE3 version of Q++Studio, can also run Windows 11, but as of November 2024, it is not recommended, as it is still newish and rather incomplete.
