Licensing
The Q++Studio diary and calendar publishing software includes the qppstudio worldwide public holidays data in the Q++Samples folder of the holidays manager, and this data and the annual updates to these rules may be used within the Q++Studio software.
If you need more frequent updates, or you wish to use the qppstudio data outside of the Q++Studio software, then it is also possible to license qppstudio worldwide public holidays separately, as yearly Excel files, which may be used outside of the Q++Studio software. Recurrence Rules
This database of worldwide public holidays is made up of recurrence rules (such as: Good Friday = 2 days before Easter) so that, based on today's national public holidays legislation and traditional rules, you could use the current database of recurrence rule of Q++Studio, to immediately calculate world holidays for the next 50 or even 100 years.
Changes to Rules and Legislation
However, the rules determining the observed dates of public holidays do change; some are added, some are removed, some are renamed, ...
To ensure that the Q++ Worldwide Public Holidays Database always remains up-to-date, we constantly monitor worldwide news sources, and government sources, to ensure that the rules that are contained in the Q++ Worldwide Public Holidays Database always remain up to date.
