The other part of our activity,
based on research begun in 1989, is the
maintenance of the Worldwide Public Holidays
Database, which predicts public holidays dates and observances in
all 197 countries and 50+ semi-autonomous territories (Hong Kong, Macau,
Gibraltar, ...) of the world, for the next 20, 30, 50 or even 100 years.
We also publish the
Q++ Worldwide Public Holidays News blog, which contains public holidays
news, updates and analysis, based on a daily review of hundreds of online
newspapers, government sites, and institutional sources. This blog is visited
daily by the world's foremost diary and calendar publishers, banks, financial
institutions, logistics companies, shipping and brokerage firms, government
agencies, NGOs, and other websites who refer to it to keep their own listings up
to date.
