The Properties of each one-time-date are set in the dialog that is displayed when adding or modifying a One-Time-Date.

date

The date on which the current one-time event occurs.

name

Parts of, or the entirety of, one-time-date names can be set to bold, italics, underline, superscript, or any combination thereof.

If some part of a holiday name is formatted, it will be surrounded by the corresponding HTML tags, which can be manually edited, and an HTML preview pane will appear, giving a preview of the final result.

If you apply more than one formatting to some text, make sure that all formatting is fully withing other formatting. That is to say, any closing tag, such as </b> should always correspond to the most recently opened tag, in this case <b>.

priority

Use this setting to ensure that the current one-time date appears in the order you wish in the event of multiple occurrences of holidays within the Holidays sets of a given holidays list. For more details, see ordering of holidays.

symbols

The symbols field is used to specify symbols for the current holiday, such as the shortened form of countries' name (for example: F, D, A, GB).

The [â]..[û] holidays symbols tokens are used to display this information.

Click on the ellipsis to select one or more symbols to associate with this holiday's occurrences. The symbols proposed to you belong to the symbol font of the current holidays set.

abbreviation

The abbreviation field is used to specify an abbreviated text for the current holiday, such as the shortened form of countries' name (for example: F, D, A, GB).

The [fâ]..[fû] holidays abbreviations tokens are used to display this information.

You can specify default abbreviations in the holidays sets properties dialog.

Any underscore character "_" (without the quotes) contained in this string will be replaced by a non-breaking space and that a tilde character "~" (without the quotes) contained in this string will be replaced by a normal space.

graphic

The tokens [img_a]..[img_u] holiday image tokens are used to display an image, using the file name selected in this option.

Note that the textbox containing these token are transformed into a picturebox and that therefore any other text (including tokens) in the same textbox will be ignored (though a warning will be issued).

You can use any type of graphical files accepted by QuarkXPress as a valid picturebox file.

Graphic Alignment

You can select the inserted image's alignment within the output file's picturebox.
