The Find File dialog is used to let Q++Studio search for a file for you, usually used to update the path of the file corresponding to a GridTemplate or a Quark File whose corresponding file has been moved. When this dialog appears, Q++Studio will have automatically filled the Search for field with the name of the file you are searching for, and a sub-folder from which to start the search (you can use the * and ? wild-cards).

 

When the above options have been set, press the Search for button.

When the search is over you can select one of the matching files found and press the Select button, or change the search options and press Search for to launch another search.
