1. | Open the Templates Explorer. |
2. | Click on the new button to select a GridTemplate to be scanned into the Templates database. Once you have selected a QuarkXPress or an InDesign file, Q++Studio will begin scanning it. |
3. | When the scan is finished, the template properties dialog appears, where you can set the new template's name and structure. |
4. | Click on save, or cancel. |
Note that once a GridTemplate has been scanned, any subsequent rescanning will not bring-up the template properties dialog. To change the properties of a previously-scanned template, go to the templates explorer and click on the Properties button.
