The current Quark File or InDesign file was saved using a different version of QuarkXPress or InDesign than the currently used version of QuarkXPress or InDesign.

 

There are 2 possible cases:

 

•The version is lower than the version of QuarkXPress or InDesign that Q++Studio is currently set to use. In this case, the present message is just a warning, and you may continue to inspect and generate using the current QuarkXPress or InDesign file. However, note that each time you inspect the current template, or use it as part of a script being generated, QuarkXPress or InDesign will need to convert that file from version X to the version of QuarkXPress or InDesign you are using, which slows down each inspection and diary generation.

•The Version is higher than the version of QuarkXPress or InDesign that Q++Studio is currently set to use. In this case, the present message is an error, and you will not be able to re-inspect the current file or generate a script which uses it until this message is fixed.

 

Solution

 

•Change QuarkXPress or InDesign Version Settings: Lets you changes the current QuarkXPress or InDesign settings in Q++Studio.

•Change the version of QuarkXPress or InDesign used to Generate, to match that used to scan this particular template.
