The current template comes from a GridTemplate which was saved using a different version of QuarkXPress or InDesign than the version of that Q++Studio is currently set to use.
If the present message is a hint or a warning, then you may continue to scan and generate using the current QuarkXPress or InDesign file.
➢However, note that each time you rescan the current template, QuarkXPress or InDesign will need to convert that template from version X to the version of QuarkXPress or InDesign you are using, which slows down each scan.
The severity of the message depends on the following possible cases:
•The file version is lower than the version of QuarkXPress or InDesign that Q++Studio is currently set to use.
oIf the difference in versions is less than 5, then this message is just a hint.
oIf the difference in versions is more than 5, then this message is a warning.
oIf the the version is so old as not to be compatible with the version of QuarkXPress that you are using, then this message is an error.
•The file version is higher than the version of QuarkXPress or InDesign that Q++Studio is currently set to use. In this case, the present message is an error, and you will not be able to re-scan the current file or generate a script which uses it until this message is fixed.
Solution
•Change QuarkXPress or InDesign Version Settings: Lets you changes the current QuarkXPress or InDesign settings in Q++Studio.
•Change the version of QuarkXPress or InDesign used to match the version of QuarkXPress or InDesign mentioned in the current message.
