This warning DTP processing message is generated if QuarkXPress notices that a template being used as part of diary generation was saved with its default (base) layer hidden (not visible), while the current script's diary generation options have the setting Ignore Invisible Layers turned on.

The present warning is to inform you that the fact that the template's default (base) layer is hidden, whether intentionally or not, will be ignored during diary generation (ie. objects on that layer will not be deleted as would occur for any other invisible layer).

This message should never occur when using InDesign, as there is no such thing as the default layer in InDesign.
