Note that GenRules token have been deprecated since 2003 and should not be used.

This message occurs if Q++Studio encounters a GenRules token whose first character after the first colon is not + or -. For example:

 [1GenRules:7]

These errors are often due to forgetting that you must specify whether the rules should be shown or skipped on the dates selected (Sundays in the above example).
