When a token starts with a period or an exclamation point, it is assumed to be an ordinal token.

The only allowed ordinal tokens are:

[.d ] [.w ] [.q ] [.ww ] [.qq ] [.dd ] [!ww ] [!qq ] [!dd]

Make sure that you meant to use an ordinal token and, if so, that it is in the above list.
