Overprint in InDesign

When using InDesign with Q++Studio, you can specify that some elements be set to overprint (as opposed to knock-out).

 

This can be applied to:

 

Text fill

Text stroke

Rules above/below

Textboxes' frames

 

In all the above cases, except the first, there is a related gap property which can also be set to overprint or not.

 

Note that, as can be seen on the right, the Overprint settings are placed in different unrelated places in the InDesign UI, making it often a difficult option to locate.
