You are trying to run the workstation part of Q++Studio on a Server version of Windows..

 

Currently, the Q++Studio workstations only support the following versions of Windows: Recommended Version

 

Windows 10 64-bit is the recommended version of Windows to use on workstations running the XV4 version of Q++Studio.

 

Older Versions

 

In addition to the recommended version of Windows, above, Q++Studio XV4 also supports Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1 (not recommended for security reasons).

 

Latest Version of Windows

 

Q++Studio also supports Windows 11, though support by QuarkXPress and InDesign might be problematic.

 

Versions of Windows that are not supported

 

Windows Vista and Windows 8 are not supported.

Bear in mind the following Windows versions limitations, depending on the version of QuarkXPress that you plan to use on your workstation:

 

•QuarkXPress 8 can only run on Windows 7.

•QuarkXPress 2015-2024 will only run on a 64-bit version of Windows.

•QuarkXPress 2019-2024 will only run on Windows 10 (64-bit) and above.
