Grid scan stopped after X pages !

Scroll Prev Up Next More

This DTP processing message occurs when Q++Studio notices that a scanned GridTemplate contains more pages than the maximum number allowed (this limit is currently set at 24 pages, as of December 2024).

The cause is usually one of the following:

You accidentally scanned Info Pages or an output file, instead of a GridTemplate.

QuarkXPress or InDesign crashed during scanning, you should then close Q++Studio and restart it (this will clean up the mess caused by the QuarkXPress or InDesign crash) and then re-scan the grid.

If this message occurs because you do actually need more than the maximum number of allowed pages per GridTemplate, then contact us so we can raise this limit (which is kept as low as possible to reduce memory usage).
