This message arises if a minicalendar marker token contains too many digits to specify the month offset.

Minicalendar marker tokens should be of the form mc+XX or mc-XX or mcXXX where X is any digit from 0-9.

The token [1mc+045] could automatically be converted to [1mc+45],  but then there would be a risk that the duplicated tokens [1mc+045] and [1mc+45] would not generate a duplicated tokens warning which could lead to the duplication on one or more months in a large page of minicalendars. So the only solution is to reject the token (sorry, it's for your own good ;-).
