You can supply translations to system tokens and to user-defined tokens, from the Token Translations tab of the languages and translations manager.

To modify an existing token's translation, use the navigation buttons at the top of the list:

If a translation already exists, select the translation you wish to modify and click on the "modify" button (represented by a triangle) at the bottom of the dialog. If the translation does not exist yet, then click on the "+" button.

Type in the new or modified translation. If you wish to add characters that are not present on your keyboard, click on the ellipsis button.

Confirm or cancel your entry by clicking either on the "checkmark" or "x" buttons.

If the token has more than one translation, it is a "mixed source" token. In that case it is very important to mimic the position number shown in the "#" column as shown in the list of English translation. For more details, see modifying mixed source tokens.

If the language for which you are setting token translations has characters not available on your keyboard, click on the ellipsis to display the character selection dialog.

Missing tokens

If you cannot see a token described above, then use the Update Token List button at the top right of this dialog. The procedure called by using this button updates the system tokens installed on your system (for all users) and needs to be done very rarely, when a new system token is added to Q++Studio, in which case you will be advised by technical support that you should perform this procedure. Note that this procedure updates tokens for all users, so it only needs to be performed once, by one of the users at your location.
