The current Quark File was saved using a different version of QuarkXPress than the currently used version of QuarkXPress.

 

There are 2 possible cases:

 

•The version is lower than the version of QuarkXPress that Q++Studio is currently set to use. In this case, the present message is just a warning, and you may continue to inspect and generate using the current QuarkXPress file. However, note that each time you inspect the current template, or use it as part of a script being generated, QuarkXPress will need to convert that file from version X to the version of QuarkXPress you are using, which slows down each inspection and diary generation.

•The Version is higher than the version of QuarkXPress that Q++Studio is currently set to use. In this case, the present message is an error, and you will not be able to re-inspect the current file or generate a script which uses it until this message is fixed.

 

Solution

 

•Change QuarkXPress Version Settings: Lets you changes the current QuarkXPress settings in Q++Studio.

•Change the version of QuarkXPress used to Generate, to match that used to scan this particular template.
