Holidays Synchronization is the process, after an update to the worldwide public holidays database, of synchronizing your sets of international holidays, originally copied from the Worldwide Public Holidays Database, with the newly updates rules of that database.

How to use holiday name variations to tweak holidays copied from the worldwide public holidays database, without losing the benefits of subsequent holidays synchronization. Such tweaks are not limited to tweaking the name of holidays, but can also include the exclusion/deletion of some dates, such as keeping only the first day of a multi-day holiday, or only showing the day in lieu holiday and not the base holiday, for example. |
