The Nexus Database Server is not running on the server (LAN user)

This message is displayed if the database server does not seem to be running on the local server computer when you try to launch Q++Studio.

 

This is usually due to the database server's configuration file having been damaged or corrupted.

 

To address this problem:

 

1.Make sure that the application server is running (yes, the application server, not the database server).

2.Wait for 60-90 seconds.

3.If you are still getting the same message, try manually starting the database server. If the If the database server tray icon is displaying a green dot then you are done.

4.However, if the database server tray icon is displaying a red dot then then the configuration file is most likely corrupted and you should restore the database configuration file.
